What a fantastic eating day! I got to eat all my favorites. I am blessed!!! It is all too delicious for words. Sigh. ♥

And in case you are wondering. . . I am not weirdly eating only on the hour. When I post these times, they are just approximate. I want to be somewhat accurate, but no need to be anal. Ha!

  1. dear julie,
i found your blog in kveta´s journal.
i want to say you how much i appreciate your words..
    i admire you very much.
i love fruit. i´ve always love it.
but i haven't been 100 fruitarian, because of what everyone else said me..
but now, i feel it is the moment to look for me,
to feel and listen my heart.
and he guides me into fruitarian path, and i love it.
i have some questions, and i think you could answer them,
because you have walked more than me in this..
i hope it is nota problem for you..
. some people said me that if i eat only fruit i will get fat because it is a lot of sugar.
what do you think? have you had problems with weight? did it changed since you are fruitarian?
. i have hormonal problems, i feel they would clean and disappear with fruit, what do you think?
. i see that you normally have only juices the first part of the day and then you eat fruit, is it for a special reason?

thank you so much for reading me, for your time, for your light and for all the love you have in your life,
thank you for making sweet your life and others.

  2. Dear Isabel. . .

You are precious! You have the gentle fruitarian spirit already. Thank you for your loving words. . . your English is perfect.

Yes, you have really made my day special with your note to me. ♥

Truly, you know, I cannot tell another person what is the right thing for them to do. But it sounds like you know it in your heart.

There is nothing to be afraid of with fruit. It will not harm you in any way. It will only help you. And no, fruit will not make you fat. Ha, ha. I lost probably around 10+ pounds once I let go of salt and all junk and went to fruit only. I wasn't hugely fat to begin with, but I did have some excess fat and fluid, for sure.

Some people who go fruitarian actually complain that they lose too much weight! (Usually men)

There is no worry here. A person can try fruit for a day, a week, a year. At any point you can go back to The Other. Feel free to experiment. Your life is an experiment!

The only problem you could have eating fruit is if you are mixing it with other foods. Fruit is meant to be eaten just by itself. For example, if you ate pizza and then some watermelon there would be a fermenting in your system.

To answer your question, I don't PLAN to have just juice in the morning. I guess it does sometimes work out that way. I suppose I do tend to eat more liquidy stuff in the morning. Since I don't drink water it is good to hydrate early on. My body likes that.

Hope this helps. . . feel free to talk with me any time. I'm quiet and a dreamer, too. : )

    Love to you,
    Julie ♥

  3. Thank you for your words,
    they really helped me..

I´m so happy that I finally found a fruitarian and that I can hear some fruitarian words..

I don´t know anyone here in mexico..

Yes, I know my heart knows which is the right food for me.

    And I know is fruit.

In fact, last week I found a drawing I did when I was 3 years old.. it is a big basket with fruit and red hearts and it says:

    fruit is love...

so I think my fruitarian spirit is true..

And now, i´m not 100 fruitarian but i don´t eat candies or pizza and those things..

the only thing I still eating a little bit is salt.. when i eat vegetables.. but i don't like it

and i know it makes me feel bad.

    and about weight.. you know,

I´ve never been a fat person, but in december, I had a thyroid problem,

and I get 27 kilos in two weeks. It was a horrible thing, i went from 45 kilos ( the weight i weighted for many years) to 67 kilos..

I was depressed, exhausted, with a lot of pain in my bones... alone...

But now, I know everything happens for some reason..

Now, I weight 50 kilos and 1.58 cm tall.

So, I am better than three months ago... but I don´t feel ok with my weight yet, because i retain a lot of water in my body.

My e mail is i.saldarriaga@hotmail.com if you proffer writing me there..

I love to know you are from usa, because I feel you near me... not in the other side of the world ha ha..

Thank you for your blog, and for writing me,

I appreciate it SO much... you are like a star for my path

And i can see all the love you have in your life, it is beautiful..

I admire how you listen to your body, you are one with it.

It is beautiful, now I understand the reason of the juices in the morning... I feel the same way,

that's why I asked you, because I love juices but there is the myth that they will make me fat, and after the thing that happened to me, the last thing I would like is to become more fat..

You are a teacher for my path, thank you a lot

all my love and blessings for you and the ones you love.

    Isa

  4. Thank you, Isabel. ♥

It sounds like you are doing very well on your path! The salt will definitely cause you to retain fluid and have other unpleasant problems.

But be gentle and patient with yourself. You have already made a lot of progress.

You are right. . . we are very close. And I love your story about the fruit drawing. How beautiful that you knew at 3 that fruit is love. It is!

Thank you for your email. For now, it is good to communicate here because it might be helpful to other people, as well.

Let me reassure you again that fruit will not make you fat unless you are overeating in a crazy way.

    Love,
    Julie ♥
